Antelope Island is the gateway to the Great Salt Lake. There is a single lane road which connects the island to land. To cross, one must pay $10 at the entrance gate. Carry cash in case they do not accept credit card.

Cycling is very popular and an easy way to see the entire day. My only concern would be breathing. The air smells terrible because of the salt.

Animal spotting for bison attracts many visitors. Sadly, I did not have enough time to drive across the island. However, many photographers love to visit and take photos of the bison.

Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the visitor center. There was a big group of kids visiting when I was there. Here are some more pictures of the lake.

Conclusion

I loved the Great Salt Lake.  It was not busy at all when I visited. The only two things that bothered me was the salt smell and flies! The flies were everywhere! I could not imagine camping on the island. If one plans to visit with the intent of doing outdoor activities, bring bug spray! Utah has many beautiful outdoor spots to visit. If I was to visit Utah again I would try to visit more state parks and outdoor spots!
