This post is a reflection on my first experience at an In-N-Out.

My last lunch in Utah was at In-N-Out. I have been to a number of the famous burger chains; this was my first chance to try In-N-Out.  This burger chain can be found in the following states: Oregon, California, Utah, Texas and Nevada. Keep reading to see my opinion.

Why Is In-N-Out So Famous?

Over the years, In-N-Out has cared about the customers. One of the cool things about this burger joint is how customizable your experience can be. Google the secret menu if you are curious. It all started with the famous 4×4 burger. The 4×4 was 4 patties and 4 slices of cheese. This burger was a massive success and they soon announced more secret menu items.

Cheap, that is the best word to describe this place! $2.45 for a burger is amazing!

What Do I Think About Their Burgers?

Well for starters, they offer plenty of toppings! So if you like toppings, they are really fresh. The burgers, well they just taste like normal fast food burgers.  I appreciate that the prices are cheap; I really do regret not getting a shake.  In-N-Out was really busy and the food takes a while to be ready. I guess this is what happens when they do not offer heat lamps. Definitely try to get one of the specialty burgers off the menu. For example, try the animal style or secret menu. Do not just get a plain burger. You will probably regret your choice.

Final Thoughts

Since I am from the East Coast; I have always wanted to try In-N-Out. I am glad that I got the opportunity. Next time, I will try to find another burger place to try. Especially in California, they are the best at making burgers. I would try to go to local joints before trying In-N-Out; if you want a good burger. If you want to be a part of the In-N-Out hype definitely try it.  Be prepared for a long wait whether you go inside or drive-thru.
